Candice Yu On-on (1959-) was one of those who left the TV industry to become a Shaw’s actress in 1977 to star in Heaven Sword and Dragon Sabre (1978), Murder plot (1979), etc. She paired up with Derek Yee and the duo was regarded as golden boy and girl of the big screen. She filled Shaw’s void in the mid- and late-1970s of hot female stars.
